Hi, folks. I’ve let this blog linger and be neglected for too long. time to try my hand at actual writing. and try to build some blog traffic. Towards that end you will see the new blog rush and google reader shared items sections now appearing on the right sidebar.

Many more changes are in store, keep a close watch.

Artificial Intelligence may be the ultimate in automation,

but till its available I’m afraid we will have to make do with whats available.

Over at the Web Worker Daily which inspired this post, There was of some windows automation software. I wanted to point out some I use.

1.  Autohot key - this can automate keystrokes, mouse movements and assign them to
hot keys. It’s scripted but it can be complied into a very small executable. I have
successfully used this to automate some features of Novell’s notoriously clunky
console 1, which I use all day to manage Groupwise.

2.  Windows scheduler - I’ve set this up to remind me to do my time-sheet , by popping open an Internet explorer window with our time-sheet application ready and waiting for data. This is really good for weekly reminders.

Back at it again.

I’ve been away from the site for awhile, concentrating on the family and work life. But I feel its time to revive the blog again.

I’m going to be trying a few new things.

I’m going to join some blog groups, do some promotion and marketing for Passionate Prose, Tornbodice, Goat Rodeo, Nancy’s Growing collection of Titles as well as DT here.

I’ve always been a reader and many years ago I flirted with the idea of writing, the only thing that held me back was lack of talent.  Well i’ll not let that hold me back anymore. Not that i’ve gotten any better or found any talent. i’m just no going to worry about it any more.  i’ve visited plenty of blog where the author really shouldn’t be writing, and i figured what the hey I’ll write anyway. :)

Right now this blog is loosly focused on my ravings, GroupWise , productivity and misc. i’m going to work on focusing the ravings and misc.

Lady Lillian’s guide to amazing sex has made the top 10 at my bookstore and more. congradulations nancy. !!!

This blog has been up, down and all around, moved to a new hosting service. then had an empty place holder blog. now it will settle down some, except for the themes, expect them to change as I will be testing some new wp themes I will be customizing.

Nancy’s Novel made it all the way up to #6 on the my bookstore and more best seller list for the end of December of her. This is an awsome work that everyone should read, if you like erotic fiction. If you are under 18, wait untill you are 18. Mature Themes and Sex.

I’ve Started working on 2 new websites recently www.nancylindquist.com A site for my wife for her Erotic Romance writing career. She created the site, I’m working on getting the front page out of it and getting it to validate as proper html.

The other site is www.RomanceLovers.net another Romance Themed site, this one will have a mybb based fourm, we are going to try to attract authors, publishers and mainly readers to the site.

working on these will be somewhat a stretch for me, romance and romantic things are an area where I could stand to gain greater knowledge, I’m not talking sex here but romance, wine, flowers, exotic dates, and such things.
